Bees are expected to produce wax/honey in their hives with flowers, however when a campfire is placed underneath their hives, they work unusually slow: normally they take approximately 30s to pollinate and 2 min to raise one honey level(which can be viewed in looing_at_block_state in debug screen). With a campfire beneath their hives, it would need approximately 1 hour IRL to produce honey/wax, even with all three bees.
How to reproduce
Place a hive then summon 3 bees in a closed space (like the attached screenshot, which involves a wall), then place a flower. Run /tick rate 10000 and potentially /gamerule advance_time false. Place a campfire beneath hive finally.
Expected results
Bees should produce wax/hive in approximately 10 minutes.
Observed results
it takes approximately 1 hours or even worse.
Notes
Bees are generally known by their horrible path finding AI. Although I’m not sure about if this issue is somehow related to their ai.
