My friends created a Minecraft server and I tried to join it using Minecraft Java Edition, but I always get the error "Internal Exception". I tried many things to fix it, like changing my DNS and other possible solutions, but nothing worked.
One of my friends also tried joining from his own PC using Minecraft Java Edition, and he got the exact same error. So it seems like the problem is not only on my computer.
This is very frustrating because we cannot play together. Also, this is not the first time this has happened to me. Many times when I try to join servers in Minecraft Java Edition, I get the same "Internal Exception" error and I cannot connect.
Could you please look into this issue and fix it? It would be very helpful because it makes it difficult to play and share the game with friends.

This is a network issue, not something Mojang can fix (to my understanding)
Many players continue to run into this issue, and I know you won’t like this answer, but try any of the following:
updating java
restarting your router
restarting your PC
restart Minecraft
reinstall Minecraft
try decreasing render distance
try using a different network if possible
Finally, if you are on Windows and you feel comfortable running terminal commands you could try the following:
Press the Windows key and r at the same time
In the box that appears, type:
cmdIn the new terminal window, type the following:
ipconfig /flushdns
With any luck, something in those lists should help you out.
Like I said, I know you won’t like the rapid fire list of possible solutions, but it is the best advice I can provide for such a broad issue.
