Whenever I hold down a hotbar slot’s keybind for ~3+ seconds, let go of it, and try hotkeying to another slot, or use my scroll wheel, the selected slot (that I previously held down) keeps overriding my inputs for 2-3 seconds. It leaves me unable to change slots whatsoever, (it just goes back to the previously held down slot). I discovered this while playing around with attribute swapping, and upon an hour of testing on multiple recent versions, (1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1.1), on the official Minecraft launcher both with and without mods, it has remained a constant issue. I googled it, and nothing came up, so I asked ChatGPT, and after ~30 minutes of playing around with different computer settings, in-game settings, and researching my keyboards, I got absolutely no solutions, and it’s still a problem. PLEASE fix this Mojang.
Environment
Tested on a King 95 PC, and Acer Predator Triton Neo 16, with keyboards Ajazz AK820, and Redragon FIZZ K617, as well as the laptop's built in keyboard.
