In the new snapshot (Language: English (UK)), the sulfur spike is spelled “sulfur“ while all other sulphur blocks are spelled “sulphur“. This is only in British translation

However, this issue is Invalid.

Translation strings added in newly released snapshots are not immediately translated for languages other than "English (US)," due to those translations being done by the community on the Crowdin Minecraft Translation Project, after said snapshots are released. As a result, their translations in “English (US)” are shown instead, until the next snapshot.
