Sulfur Cube bouncing endlessly

I’ve been testing out the new sulfur cubes in the latest snapshot. When i use the /ride command to ride it while a sulfur cube is bouncing straight up and down, it will get higher and higher (though it seems to not get much higher at a certain point). It just keeps getting higher and higher from the level it started bouncing at. So far this has only happened while I’m actively riding it.
