Putting a Book and Quill into a Lectern does not increase Times Used statistics

Putting a Book and Quill into a Lectern does not increase Times Used statistics, which is different from how it behaves when put into a Chiselled Bookshelf (MC-256481).

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a scoreboard to track Times Used statistics of Book and Quill using the commands provided below:

/scoreboard objectives add UseBookAndQuill minecraft.used:minecraft.writable_book

/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar UseBookAndQuill

2. Get a Lectern, a Chiselled Bookshelf, and some Books and Quills.

3. Put a Book and Quill into a Chiselled Bookshelf, notice how the scoreboard increased.

4. Put a Book and Quill into a Lectern, notice how the scoreboard did not increase.

Expected Behaviour:

Either of the 2 actions described in steps 3 and 4 would increase the Times Used statistics of a Book and Quill

Observed Behaviour:

Only putting a Book and Quill into a Chiselled Bookshelf increases the statistic.

I would also advise to revisit MC-298275. A new block called the Shelf got added recently, and putting an item into a Shelf is of the same value as putting it into a Decorated Pot. Yet a report for statistics not increasing when using the Shelf got marked as “Works As Intended” (MC-302587, comments section). This shows inconsistency.
