26.1-snapshot-5:
You also can not do it with the baby variant of a camel husk(summoned via commands) whereas you can with a regular camel.

Never mind I just misread a 5 as 6. Sorry for any confusion
I meant 26.1-snapshot-6
I did not realize they released a new snapshot again.
I would suggest trying to recreate it on 26.1-snapshot-5 and if it is still an issue for you in that version then provide the type of keyboard as well as video footage of it happening since I would assume they will ask you for both of those things.
Thank you for testing and for the clarification. The behavior makes more sense now. My testing used only one egg per dimension, and the Nether/End egg likely just didn’t hit enough successful random ticks during that period despite running for a long period.
I appreciate the confirmation and the advice.
I reproduced this issue in 26.1-snapshot-5 on a LAN world.
While connected as an operator, changing the difficulty via the World Options screen applies the difficulty immediately on each click, rather than only when exiting or confirming the menu.
Briefly switching to Peaceful causes hostile mobs to despawn instantly, even if Peaceful is not the final selected difficulty.
I re-tested this in 26.1-snapshot-5, where the issue is marked as fixed.
While most baby horse captions now appear to be translated, entity.baby_horse.land still shows as untranslated in closed captions.
This suggests the fix may have been incomplete, with at least one caption key still missing.

Even with entering 20 I still could not reproduce the issue you described. I recommend attaching a video if you fully believe it is a bug.
