Hardcore with cheats enabled

So I was playing my hardcore world and I clicked open to LAN and saw the option to enable cheats I didn’t enable them I wasn’t a cheater. So I made a new hardcore world and went to open to LAN and I clicked enable on the cheats option. And it worked I could open the game mode switcher and switch into creative and other mode’s available and it worked. I could give myself full netherite without effort and I think it isn’t fair. So I wanted to report this bug and no I wasn’t using one of those texture packs that give you hardcore hearts.
