«Flying is not enabled on this server» when using wind charge in survival mode at high TPS

  • If a player uses a wind charge at a high tick rate in survival mode and the «allow-flight» is set to «false» in the properties file with the server settings, the server will assume that the player is flying illegally in survival mode and kick it. Reproduce:

  • In the properties file with the server settings, «allow-flight» must be set to «false».

  • You must definitely be in survival mode, because if you are in creative mode, the server will not pay attention to the fact that you are flying illegally. The command to switch to survival mode is: /gamemode survival. Or use F3+F4.

  • Give yourself a wind charge. One piece will be enough for the eyes (colloquial expression). Command: /give @s minecraft:wind_charge .

  • Set a high tick rate - you will already be kicked at 300. Command: /tick rate 300 .

  • Charge the wind for yourself.

The server is kicking you for flying illegally in survival mode.

The server should not kick you because flying in survival mode using wind charges is not illegal. Apparently, this problem occurs due to the use of high TPS.
