Hey, Zack

I have tried this on a previous version (Release 26.1 - Release 26.1.1) and it also doesn’t work. It looks like an intentional game design; the hitbox height for a Java villager is 1.95m, and a carpet’s hitbox thickness is 1/16 of a block therefore making it 0.0625m thick. The result is 2.0125m which doesn’t allow the mob to pass through.

Oh, well if i am not mistaken I think I remember there being a couple of villager structures where they generate with carpets on the floor, preventing the villagers from entering those structures. There’s a library building in the Savanna villages that has that problem. So I don’t think it would be intentional.
