The Bug
The Potent Sulfur inside the Sulfur Pool feature does not produce any noxious gas. If the block is updated, it will start working again.
Steps to reproduce
Find or place the
minecraft:sulfur_poolfeatureObserve the lack of noxious gas
Destory a neighbouring block to cause a block update
It starts producing noxious gas again
Expected behavior
It should, like the other feature minecraft:sulfur_spring, produce noxious gas without requiring the player to update the block manually.

Why did my description disappear?
Here is a short description of the issue if it doesn’t come back: The minecraft:sulfur_pool feature does not produce noxious gas if the potent sulfur doesn’t get a block update (which can be caused by breaking a block beside it, like I did in the pictures). This is inconsistent with minecraft:sulfur_spring which does produce noxious gas without the player manually having to cause a block update.
This is the case for both naturally generated Sulfur Pools and for manually place ones.
