Sulfur cave biomes override usual cave ore generation

The bug

Sulfur cave features, such as cinnabar and sulfur blocks, override the usual cave ore generation. This results in little to no ores generated in the biome, which is unusual compared to the rest of cave biomes.

How to reproduce

  1. Create a single biome sulfur cave world, or find a large sulfur cave biome on a default world.

  2. Look for ores around the cave using night vision.

  3. Compare the ore cluster generation with areas outside this biome.

Expected result

Ore clusters would generate within cinnabar and sulfur blocks around the cave.

Observed result

Ores do not generate unless there’s stone or deepslate that can be replaced by them.
