The bug
Geysers are able to impulse entities through copper grates, however, in some cases the particles are stopped by this block despite still being able to push entities through it. This doesn’t happen when the grate is placed on water.
How to reproduce
Place potent sulfur on top of magma block below 4 blocks of water.
Leave a 2 block air gap above it and then place a copper grate.
Spawn an entity on top of the grate.
Await until the geyser bursts.
Expected result
The geyser particles would go through the copper grate.
Observed result
The geyser particles are stopped by the grate, despite this not being the case when the grate is placed on the water.
