Player automatically jumps when slowed down by a block (like “Mud” or “Soul Sand”) --and positioned a little lower by those blocks-- and partly above a water source, even though auto-jump is disabled.
You can create a reproduction environment by:
Placing a mud/soul sand block below yourself,
Placing two dirt blocks on top of each other front of you,
Placing one dirt block next to the two dirt blocks and above the ground,
Breaking the ground block and placing water next to you and the one dirt block you placed in the previous step,
Disabling auto-jump,
Walking towards the one dirt block without jumping.
We can see that player tries to jump even though we can’t possibly get up there.
I also tried to attach a video that demonstrates the bug as it’s relatively intricate the reproduce from the text description, but website got stuck in an infinite loading loop. This is why I uploaded this demonstration video on YouTube unlisted:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuMp9lOsRsw
I never manually jumped in the video. That’s the bug.
Note: Normally, player automatically gains an upward and forward momentum when leaving water as an assist regardless auto-jump is on or off, and I suspect water collider size mismatch is the root issue.
