all I did to trigger this bug was drink a potion of swiftness 2 and then pause to put on a video
as soon as I hit the escape the computer issued the blue screen of death
the blue screen of death said that I had run out of storage space, even though I still have more than half of my storage space unused
the chunks in the world I was in at the time no longer load and no interaction with the world is possible becides block breaking
I hope that this bug can be fixed in the future
and I also hope that the damage done to my map (which has been attatched) is reversable as i have spent many hours on single player building up this world.

Your Java version is out of date! Please update your Java to the latest version: http://www.java.com/en/download/ .
When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp .
A BSOD is not a Minecraft bug.

thanks for the comment but my computer runs on 32 bit software not 64 bit
so updating my java won't do anything apart from crash the system. I think
the problem was I was using the far render distance setting which is ment
for 64 bit ONLY and that is why minecraft crashed.

That "64 bit Java hint" wasn't meant especially for you, that is a generic template and only to apply if you have 64 bit OS....
Nevertheless, your 32bit Java is outdated.

cheers
