As of the latest version, the spawner block, trial spawner block and vault (specifically the template meshes they reference) use a negative-size cuboid for rendering their interior faces. This is in contrast to redstone torch, repeater and comparator lit torch heads (which used to do this, but were explicitly updated in 24w38a to not do so: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-24w38a), as well as powder snow, which has not done this since the start.
Inverted cubes are known to cause issues such as MC-266463 due to their unintuitive definitions and interactions with directions, and it seems like the intent is to move away from them, making these three blocks outliers.
To fix, these models should be changed to define each interior face as its own element, presumably in the manner done by powder snow.
