The dragon egg model in the "Programmer Art" resource pack appears to be corrupted

The dragon egg model in Programmer Art has texture mapping which appears to be corrupted and inaccurate, and does not represent how the block looked in prior versions as intended.

A resource pack is attached which changes the dragon egg’s texture to the second debug texture. This reveals that Programmer Art’s mapping is completely broken as of 26.2’s latest pre-release. A version for 1.7.10 is also attached, revealing the correct mapping in this version.

A fixed model for the dragon egg is also attached which perfectly recreates the appearence of the 1.7.10 dragon egg in modern Minecraft (though without unwanted inner quads). Fixing this issue should be as easy as replacing the existing dragon egg model in Programmer Art with this fixed version. Mojang have my full permission, and strong encouragement, to use this fixed model.

I’ve attempted to replicate this in 26.1.2, 26.2 Pre-Release 3, and 26.2 Pre-Release 5 and I have been unable to. When using the Programmer Art resource pack it appears to work as intended.

Are you sure you're applying the attached egg mapping test pack on top of Programmer Art, and that you’re doing so specifically with the newer version of the pack?

I see what you mean now, can replicate in 26.2 Release Candidate 1
