When using the deck with the Wind Boost III enchantment to bounce on top of a sulfur cube with compressed ice inside, infinite bounces will be allowed since if the sulfur cube has ice inside it does not bounce as much in a restricted area
steps to replicate:
1.equip a mace
2.enchant the mace with wind boost III
3.falling with the sledgehammer from an average height towards a cube of sulfur with compressed ice
4.use the mallet to create momentum
5.Repeat the impulse to achieve almost infinite height.
expected result:
It would be expected that the mace or the sulfur cube would suffer a significant penalty to avoid abusing the almost infinite height
real result:
The mace can continue to give impulses several times, gaining height for a long time.

This does not seam like a bug to me and simply the intended outcome for a fast sliding catagory cube.
Fast Sliding Blocks drastically reducing a cubes ability to bounce. Could you elaborate why you believe this to be a bug? It even still takes away mace durability

I'd see it more as a broken mechanic, since it allows you to reach high heights in a survival game without losing the mob that's boosting you, as the sulfur cube doesn't suffer any penalty. And if you have the mace with Unbreakable III, the wear and tear isn't as noticeable, but I understand your point of view.
Considering the ammount of setup required for this in survival (getting a sulfur cube, getting packed ice, getting a mace, getting the enchantments on the mace) i do not feel like this is overpowered. But even if it is this wouldnt be a bug and should be posted on the minecraft feedback forums.
