Unable to change online settings when in a world

Description

When connected to a server or within a single player world the “Online Options” are inaccessible as the button is replaced with the World Options. This means you cannot toggle Friend Requests or any friends related setting when playing the game.

Expected Behavior

The Online Options is available in the options even when you already joined a server/a single player world, allowing me to change my friends settings while playing the game.

Actual Behavior

I can not change my friends settings (except for sending/accepting/declining requests) while playing the game, I need to disconnect the server/my single player world to be able to e.g. toggle friend requests.

Maybe I am completely overseeing something and there is a way to toggle these settings even when you are in a world, but I could not find it, feel free to point it out in the comments if there is a way to change these settings.
