End portals or End gateways held by glowing endermen do not glow

Compare these two commands:

/summon minecraft:enderman ~ ~ ~ {carriedBlockState:{Name:"minecraft:stone"},NoAI:1,Glowing:1}
/summon minecraft:enderman ~ ~ ~ {carriedBlockState:{Name:"minecraft:end_gateway"},NoAI:1,Glowing:1}

The first summons a glowing enderman holding stone, and the held stone is highlighted accordingly.

The second summons a glowing enderman holding an end gateway. Unlike with the stone, there is no outline surrounding the end gateway, which I think is incorrect.

Expected outcome would be for the end gateway to also be outlined.
