Considerable flickering in glowing shulker box block display

Run this command and look inside the entity in Spectator mode:

/summon minecraft:block_display ~ ~ ~ {block_state:{Name:"minecraft:shulker_box"},Glowing:1b}

Around several of the block’s edges, noticeable flickering of pixels can be seen. This should not happen.
