Relates to MC-86310, MC-161886 and MC-309468.
Dropping a shelf item on the ground will reveal that it rotates around an offset center, which is incorrect. Compare to a flat item such as a door.
The expected result would be for the shelf to rotate around its center of mass as other items do (also see reports linked above).
