Cushions will not burn unlike other wool blocks which is inconsistent with other wool blocks.
Steps to reproduce:
Place a cushion
Place a lava close to it or a fire.
Run the command
/tick sprint 1dand wait.
Actual result:
Cushions will not burn.
Expected result:
Cushions will burn.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Since cushions are entities, how will lava detect for cushions? The lava code will have to be changed to burn entities as well.
