Observed Behavior: When placing a specific setup of stairs, the corner stair connects in a broken, visually glitched layout. The setup consists of one stair facing North and another facing diagonally South (opposing directions). When a third stair facing East is placed in the corner between them, the connection logic breaks, causing the stairs to merge incorrectly and deform.
Expected Behavior: The stairs should either form a standard, clean corner stair connection or maintain their regular individual shapes without visual tearing or clipping into each other.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place one stair facing North.
Place another stair facing diagonally South nearby to create an opposing setup.
Place a third stair facing East in the corner between them.
Observe the visual glitch where the textures and shapes merge incorrectly (as shown in the left setup of the provided screenshot).

Can confirm for 26.2. I suppose the disconnected stair would usually be connected to the east-facing stair if it weren’t for the other stair behind that one.
