"cats_can_sit_on.json" and "cats_can_lie_on.json" only partially work

In 26.3 Snapshot 3, the new datapack block tags, "cats_can_sit_on.json" and "cats_can_lie_on.json", do not entirely work. I attempted to make a datapack that makes it so that cats cannot sit on chests. However, it did not work; the cat sat on the chest anyway. I checked to make sure I had correctly removed “minecraft:chest“ from “cats_can_sit_on.json“, and I did. I tested what would happen if I removed “#minecraft:beds“ from "cats_can_lie_on.json" and once again, it did nothing. I then tested what would happen if I added any blocks to either of these files by adding “minecraft:ender_chest“ to "cats_can_sit_on.json" and “minecraft:grass_block“ to "cats_can_lie_on.json", but this time it actually worked. Tldr: blocks can be added to either of these files, but not removed.
