Hand placement animation does not play when continuously placing falling blocks

When continuously placing falling blocks (such as sand), the hand placement animation does not play, although the blocks are placed and fall normally.

This bug is consistently reproducible. To reproduce:

1. Continuously place falling blocks at any location, ensuring there is no supporting block beneath them.

2. Observe that the blocks are placed and fall as expected, but the hand animation does not play.
