The player's head remains visible when switching to Spectator mode from the World Options menu until the game is resumed

When toggling the game mode to spectator in world options, the player’s head temporarily remains visible. When you unpause, it correctly turns semi-transparent.

The rest of the body does change to be semi-transparent when switching to spectator mode in the menu.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Open a world and switch to any game mode but spectator

  2. Go into 3rd person view

  3. Open Options > World Options and switch the game mode to spectator

You’ll see your player head remain visible until you unpause.

Recent 26.3 snapshots have changed the steps slightly, requiring changing your game mode to spectator using the Personal Game Mode button in World Options, and then clicking Apply Changes. The resulting effect is the same, however.
