The game displays English though another language had been selected

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch the game.

  2. Open the language selection screen.

  3. Select any language other than English (US) from the list.

Actual Result:
The game displays text in the selected language

Expected Result:
The game still displays text in English

Sorry, but I don’t think this bug is the same as MC-310373. In 26.3-snapshot-5 and 6, I could successfully switch language, but in snapshot 7 I could not, even after I had been restarted the game for the second time. I also didn’t meet the error screen that MC-310687 describes.

The error screen showed in MC-310687 happens when you try to change the language from the settings.
