Reply to yuyu’s comment at 2026-09-17T13:42:55+0000: When I use the Vulkan render backend, I can’t switch to Chinese IME at all when there is no text input box, so this issue is unable to be triggered.

I encountered this issue using Google Chrome on Windows. I tried uploading an attachment when creating a bug report and failed, but I could upload the attachment later using comment.

Sorry, but I don’t think this bug is the same as MC-310373. In 26.3-snapshot-5 and 6, I could successfully switch language, but in snapshot 7 I could not, even after I had been restarted the game for the second time. I also didn’t meet the error screen that MC-310687 describes.
