The new search experience on report.bugs.mojang.com may not correctly display the Status of bug reports. This causes users who filter for “Unresolved” bug reports to find unexpected results.
This issue does not happen to old search experience on both bugs.mojang.com and report.bugs.mojang.com.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open report.bugs.mojang.com and select “Minecraft: Java Edition”.
Make sure the new search experience is enabled. A “Switch to old search experience” prompt should be visible. Also make sure the search filter is set to “Unresolved” (the only default option).
“Sort by:” defaults to “Most Votes”. To make this easier to reproduce, it is recommended to select “Priority (highest first)”.
Randomly open several bug reports and compare the Status shown in the report with the Status shown in the search results.
Actual Result:
Some bug reports have a Status of “Resolved” in the report itself, but are displayed as “Unresolved” in the search results.
Expected Result:
All bug reports listed in the filtered results should have a Status of “Unresolved”. Bug reports with a Status of “Resolved” should not appear.
