HOW TO TRIGGER:

(Just 1 example, there was many method to trigger this)

2:Place some lava and give yourself some golden apple

3:Switch to survival

4.Jump into lava, when you heart becomes low,eat the golden apple

You will find——Even you are dead, you are still eating the gapple(even after you released the mouse button),and the gapple was be eaten, you can even gain buff(which will gone after your respawn)

I have a serious heart disease. Some day when I was playing Minecraft(KeepInventory==true),I suddenly fell into a lava lake.I tried to eat a enchantment golden apple to gain fire resistance effect. However, because my hands were as slow as a Happy Ghast——I died because of being a very hot person before I gain the effect. But something very strange happens——I have already release my mouse button, but my character was keep eating the VAULEABLE ENCHANTMENT GOLDEN APPLE! When I respawn,my VAULEABLE ENCHANTMENT GOLDEN APPLE was gone, just like other languages(All except English (US)) in 26.3-snapshot-7. OMG!I cannot accept this terrible reality. -my VAULEABLE ENCHANTMENT GOLDEN APPLE (which was given to me by /give command),is GONE.So my heart attack occured, and I am dead——in real life. But lucky,Herobrine think my death was truly a pity,so Herobrine respawned me in the real life. Now,I need to report it to prevent my 2nd death.
