Changing the "Exclusive Fullscreen Mode" option does not update the game's actual resolution on macOS

On macOS, changing the resolution under Exclusive Fullscreen Mode does not appear to correctly update Minecraft’s resolution.

When changing the Exclusive Fullscreen resolution, macOS changes its display resolution as expected, and Minecraft’s UI seems to change in size as well. However, the Minecraft game rendering itself appears to remain at the previous resolution.Additionally, the F3 screen continues to report false and/or previous display resolution rather than the resolution selected in the settings.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Minecraft 26.3 Pre-Release 1 on macOS

  2. Enter a world

  3. Enable Fullscreen and Exclusive Fullscreen

  4. Open Video Settings

  5. Change Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to a different resolution, e.g. 1024x640@60hz

  6. Apply the settings and return to the game

  7. Press Fn + F3 to open the debug screen and observe the display: resolution
