Minecraft will not go past 30FPS on 26.3 and macOS 27 Golden Gate despite framerate being set to unlimited and the same settings working fine on Java 26.2 and macOS 26 Tahoe. Updated macOS and Minecraft at the same time, so I don’t know if this applies to Java 26.3 / macOS 26 or Java 26.2 / macOS 27.
Environment
Device is a Mac mini M4, 24GB RAM

Yeah it happens regardless of that setting. I also tried changing the graphics API, Vulkan runs fine, setting it to default makes it stay stuck at 30fps.
I’m experiencing no issues on the same OS and Minecraft version. Does this happen regardless of the “Reduce FPS When” video setting? And does disabling any third-party utilities which live in your menu bar fix the issue?
