MCPE-236488 Minecraft crashes upon attempting loading any world Duplicate

Hmm, the bug is fixed for me now.

26.1 fixed scaling issues, maybe that issue added or changed something that incorrectly calculates UI scale for 16:9 screens? Honestly I’m not sure, most people have 16:9 screens (and I presume that’s what everyone who reported the bug has) and only my 16:10 laptop doesn’t crash. I just saw that correlation and thought that could potentially be the issue.

Is anyone else on an aspect ratio other than 16:9?

Yeah it could be the aspect ratio. I’ll try connecting my 16:10 laptop to the same 16:9 display as my desktop and see if it crashes

Maybe it only affects the UI when ingame?

I found something. The patch notes say:

From this page: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/43648860943245-Minecraft-Bedrock-Edition-26-1-Changelog

Could this be something to do with the aspect ratio? Because my desktop (which is crashing) has a 16:9 display connected and my laptop (which this issue does not occur on) is 16:10. That could explain why it’s not OS or CPU specific.

That’s interesting, my laptop has the same specs—Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 7, and 16GB of RAM but it doesn’t run into the issue.

This bug seems like it’s specific to Intel CPUs…interesting

I’m having the same issue. For me it’s not the worlds themselves, I’m able to export them to my iPhone and they work fine there. Also includes servers for me. No add-ons or mods.

I looked in Event Viewer and there’s an error at the time the game crashed, exception code 0xc000001d. This is an illegal instruction that’s not support my by CPU, which caused it to crash.

What are your PC’s specs? Here’s mine:

Intel Core i7-4790k

16GB RAM

Nvidia 1020 6GB RAM

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
