Mobs (and possibly certain other entities) which spawn at X/Z > 30M during worldgen are sometimes visually kicked out to X/Z = 30M. For those that are not, pearling closer to their actual position can sometimes bring them to 30M visually, and for those appearing at 30M, reloading the area/world can cause them to appear at their spawn location again. Affected entities cannot be attacked or interacted with and seem to float in the air.
