Spawn Eggs do not work on Spawner Minecarts

In Java Edition, you can customise Spawner Blocks/Trial Spawners with a Spawn Egg. The Spawner Minecart is also a spawner. However, when you attempt to customise the Spawner Minecart with a Spawn Egg, nothing will change.

To reproduce this, summon a Spawner Minecart with “/summon spawner_minecart”. Then, press the use key on the Spawner Minecart while holding a Spawn Egg. It will show the same animation that plays when you customise a Spawner Block/Trial Spawner. However, when you print the data for the Spawner Minecart with “/data get”, you will be able to see that nothing has changed.
