Any blocks behind a cloud are invisible, allowing you to see the sun/moon/stars. As can be seen in the first screenshot, the moon is visible, however, if I jump up a block it is clear that I am facing a wall (in this case a mountain)

This is not a duplicate. This is a different bug. In the linked bug report, it says that clouds are not transparent from below. In this bug report, they are transparent from below. The blocks above the clouds are also transparent.

Sure thing. I thought it only happened at night, turns out it is only more noticable at night. The sun should not be visible through the cloud, as it is obscured by a mountain
