When pressing alt+tab to focus another window the mouse cursor is immediately visible, but after a short but noticeable delay (feels like 0.5 - 1 second), the cursor is set back to the middle of my window. This behavior feels quite sluggish, as having the cursor moved when I’ve already started moving it interrupts that process and forces me to re-do that motion.
Steps to reproduce
Join a singleplayer world or any server.
Press alt+tab to focus another window while not having the game menu open, and at the same time start moving the mouse.
Observe that your input is overridden when the mouse is centered a short moment later.
Expected result
The mouse to be centered the moment it becomes visible after pressing alt+tab, this is how it worked prior to 26.3.
Actual result
The mouse is off-center when it becomes visible (depending on how much you moved the camera), and gets centered after a delay.
I’m resolving this into MC-312211 and broadening that report to include all OSs.
