Unlike zombies and husks, frostbite never spawn holding a melee weapon. This may be intentional, as they are well known for their ice ball, similar to drowned and their trident attack (drowned likewise cannot spawn with any other melee weapon), but as frostbite are a terrestrial zombie variant this seems worth tracking.
