In 26.4 Snapshot 3, the blocks that snow can be placed on were changed, and snow can now be placed on packed ice. As a result, naturally generated snow now covers packed ice. Although this change was intended to create the atmosphere of Ice Caves, it causes Frozen Peaks to have almost no exposed packed ice strips; only a small amount of regular ice that snow cannot cover remains exposed on the surface. I believe this may be an unintended consequence.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new world.
Go to a Frozen Peaks biome.
Observe the surface.
Expected Result:
The surface of Frozen Peaks has exposed packed ice strips.
Actual Result:
Packed ice in Frozen Peaks is covered by snow, and only a small amount of regular ice is exposed on the surface.
