I think this is not an exact duplicate of MC-312370. That report is about icebergs in Frozen Ocean and ice spikes in Ice Spikes, while mine is specifically about the exposed packed ice strips on Frozen Peaks. The root cause may be the same, but the affected biome and feature are different, so Frozen Peaks should be verified separately.
