The Bug:
Mob projectiles that are ignited can light TNT minecarts when the mob_griefing game rule is set to false.
When the mob_griefing game rule is set to false, ignited projectiles shot by mobs cannot light TNT or campfires, and mob explosions no longer destroy minecarts. However, a blaze's fireball, a ghast's fireball, or a skeleton's flaming arrow that hits a minecart with TNT still sets it off, and its explosion destroys the blocks around it, therefore introducing an inconsistency.
Steps to Reproduce:
Set the
mob_griefinggame rule to false by using the command provided below./gamerule mob_griefing falseSummon a minecart with TNT and a blaze by using the commands provided below.
/summon minecraft:tnt_minecart ~ ~ ~3/summon minecraft:blaze ~ ~ ~8 {NoAI:1b,UUID:[I;1,2,3,4]}Summon a fireball shot by the blaze above the minecart with TNT by using the command provided below.
/execute at @n[type=minecraft:tnt_minecart] run summon minecraft:small_fireball ~ ~3 ~ {Owner:[I;1,2,3,4],Motion:[0.0d,-0.5d,0.0d]}Observe if the minecart with TNT explodes and destroys the blocks around it.
Observed Behavior:
Mob projectiles that are ignited can light TNT minecarts when the mob_griefing game rule is set to false.
Expected Behavior:
Ignited mob projectiles would not set off TNT minecarts when the mob_griefing game rule is set to false.
