The Bug:
Feeding llamas and trader llamas makes an entity interaction vibration instead of an eating vibration.
Feeding a llama or trader llama makes an entity interaction vibration (frequency 6) instead of an eating vibration (frequency 8). Feeding a horse, donkey, mule, or camel makes an eating vibration, therefore introducing an inconsistency.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place down a sculk sensor and a comparator coming out of it.
Place at least 8 redstone dust coming out of the comparator.
Obtain some wheat and summon a llama near the sculk sensor.
Feed wheat to the llama and observe the signal strength of the comparator.
Observed Behavior:
The comparator outputs a signal strength of 6 indicating an entity interaction vibration.
Expected Behavior:
The comparator outputs a signal strength of 8 indicating an entity eating vibration.
issue is because
Llama#handleEatingnever sendsGameEvent.EATIt plays the eating sound, but unlike the horse or camel methods it does not emit the EAT game event. Trader llamas are inheriting the same moethod so they have the same issue.
Sometimes I wonder how you find this stuff LOL, great find!
