Amplified areas do not generate ore and caves

Please do not mark unreleased versions (anything starting with "Future Version") as affected. You don't have access to them yet.

I know its probably a bit late but I felt I should word this a bit more accurately.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.2 / Launcher version 1.3.4 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This is regular, AMPLIFIED does not generate ores other than coal.

AMPLIFIED worlds do and always did generate every ore and cave. It's just that they're generated at the same levels in every world type, despite the increase in AMPLIFIED's generation height.

So coal ore doesn't appear above layer 128, iron ore doesn’t appear above layer 64, etc.

Maybe those heights should be scaled up as much as the generation height has been. Maybe the water level should be scaled up as well, but those are suggestions.

The fact is, every ore is generated, caves are generated too, and there's no bug.

This is intended. The comments above are correct about height generation of ores.
