[MC-32008] Since 13w38b leaves are lighter and cast a lot less shadows

The leaves look a lot "lighter" than they usually are. I don't like playing with smooth lighting off. So basically I'm just really annoyed by the leaves looking like the smooth lighting is off, when my smooth lighting is turned on Maximum. By the way really love what mojang is doing with minecraft right now! Just waiting for some ocean biome stuff...

This is the first bug I've ever experienced that makes me not want to play the current version. While some people like the alpha-style lack of shading, it doesn't look so nice to me. Living in a forest in all my worlds... yeah. Bad situation.

Hoping it's fixed tomorrow for the thursday snapshot, if there is one.
