It says this issue is resolved, but it's still happening on my computer. What do I do?

Please attach a current crash report.

Follow the tips in the last comment.

Hi Kumasasa,

Java says the latest version is already installed.

Can you be a little more specific than "updating graphics drivers to latest version"? I know it's different for every machine, but on Windows 8, do I get there via Control Panel, right clicking on the Desktop, via My Computer, something else???

Also, here's the crash report.

I've tried the suggestions made on the duplicate of my comment. It was not helpful, and I had the same difficulties that the previous user, Steve Spielberg, had. Are there any further suggestions or advise to this problem. I have checked the reference page, and so far, none of the information has been relevant.

This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.

I believe that I have found a fix for this issue. I have no idea why this works and I have no idea if this will for you, but it is worth a shot.

What I did was play Slender's Shadow at the highest graphics. I did this to test if my video graphics card wasn't working, however the game ran smoothly, so I knew it wasn't the card. I then just tried to start Minecraft just to test it again and it worked! I played it and it ran smoothly with the new update.

I don't think that Slender's Shadow is the only game you have to use, so try to run other games on high graphics. I have no idea why it fixed the error but it did.

I know what you are thinking, that it was just coincidence that Minecraft happened to work right after I played Slender. However, later that day Minecraft had appeared with the same error message as before. So I tried the Slendy method and it worked again.

Just try this with some other game or if you have Slender's Shadow, try it on that. Please tell me if it worked for you.
