Wooden Items Suddenly Light On Fire

Can you please make a 1.6.5 or something to fix this? Because, no offense, I honestly don't like the way these 1.7 Snapshots are going.

Wooden stairs and slabs are intended to burn. They also did this in the previous updates, this has nothing to do with the 1.7 snapshots.

I know, but we put Glowstone, and it sill burned!

Nevrmind. Problem fixed. We just put Nether Brick ,Nether Brick Stairs, and Nether Brick Slabs. You know why? That spiral staircase is inside a imitation of Paulsoaresjr's Tower of Power! Thanks for the help anyway, and here is the link to his channel:

Anything that's wood including stairs, will burn if a fire entity/block is within 3 blocks of a flammable block. (Even wool)

Our wood house doesn't burn.....
