Maps in frames vanishing at edge of viewing area

I have a 3x3 set of maps in frames. As the maps reach the edge of my screen, they vanish. The items are there, they just stop rendering at the edge of the screen. Reappear when I change my viewing position so the entire map + frame is on screen.
