[MC-3529] Various textures missing.

Everytime I start minecraft some textures are missing very often. And it havent happened before so its not a performance problem with my comuter.
its often the inventory gui thats missing textures.

This is a picture of the workbench with missing textures its one of the common missing texures (this didnt use to happen before i updated to 1.4.4 and 1.4.5

If you are using windows 8, you might want to try running minecraft in compatibility mode.

I've seen this "Missing texture" when attempting to use an HD texture pack on an unmodded minecraft. In particular, i loaded the 512x512 Sphax and the moon was a large white square saying "Mi" just like that screenshot.

Im running on win 8 and it works fine running compitability mode on win 8
