I placed a torch in my mine. All blocks appear completely black. Restarting Minecraft or changing the texture pack does not help.
What I expected to happen was...:
Light from torches.
What actually happened was...:
The world turned into darkness / no lights in the world.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Dig down a 2x1 hole
2) Place a torch at the wall
3) Everyting is black
Other way:
Selecting a torch has the same effect.
Deselect the torch and go to the Resource-Packs-Menu and back to game - everything seems normal.

After placing some lava, the light returns to normal after 5 seconds. Distoring the lava will return to black exposure.

Resolving all "Texture issues" to MC-35881

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt
) in MC-35881.

(crash-2013-10-20_11.07.03-client.txt)
I couldn't reproduce the behaviour
Things that changed:
> Updated Java to 1.7.0_45
> Updated AMD Graphic Drivers from 15. October 2013
Now I downgrade to my old graphic drivers and test this again

Was your crash report before or after updating the drivers ?

The crash report was generated after the update (but in 1.6.2).
I could reproduce the issue with the new java version and updated graphic drivers.
I forgot to select the snapshot-version. See the new crash report.

Ok, thanks. Updated MC- MC-35881
